Introducing the New Collection Vol. ①
Good evening, everyone.
Today, I would like to introduce the first yarn from the new collection.
The other day, I posted a photo of a necktie on my stories.
Yes, the theme this time is exactly that — “Tie.”
If you were wondering why ties are the theme for the Croatia collection, please take a look at the stories.
This colorway will be available on three different yarn bases:
from left to right: Original Yarn, Merino alpaca sock, and the Double sock set.

The colors were inspired by slightly unique striped neckties.
For the Double sock set, I paired it with a brown semi-solid yarn.
I created the combination as if putting together a real outfit — like a striped necktie with a brown suit.
Brown suits may not be very common, but I turned my ideal coordination into yarn form.
And when knitted, it looks like this.
Since the theme was neckties, I dyed this yarn as a self-striping colorway.Self-striping yarn creates repeating colors at regular intervals.
You can see it clearly in the knitted swatch above.
It gives an effect somewhat like stripes or borders.
When knitted into socks, it may create bold stripe patterns, and depending on how the colors overlap, unique effects can appear.
The swatch below was crocheted.
Compared to knitting, the colors appear in larger blocks here.
One of the interesting points of self-striping yarn is how differently the colors appear depending on the craft and needle or hook used.
I hope you enjoy discovering stitch patterns that make the most of these color changes.
The Croatia collection will be available from May 29 at 8:00 PM.
Please be sure to take a look.
