Good evening everyone.
The weather has been pleasant, how are you doing?
Today, I would like to introduce our new items that will be on sale on the 19th.
This time, I would like to introduce only yarns.
In all, 10 colors of cotton were dyed.
Counterclockwise from upper left: "Komorebi," "Dry grass," "Shade of the tree," and "Leaf vein".
And this one is called "Catnap", "Treetop", and "Light breeze".
These seven colors are also dyed with alpaca lace under the same name.
Finally, these three colors are, from left to right, "Fresh verdure", "Earth", and "Floating clouds".
Earth is currently being prepared for a photo, so it is a pullover knit in the same color.
There is no alpaca lace in these three colors.
In fact, dyes for cotton are completely different from those for wool, alpaca, and other animal hair dyes.
First, we dye cotton, and then we dye alpaca lace by blending dyes for animal hair to approximate those colors.
So, to be precise, the colors are slightly different even though the name of the yarn is the same.
If I could reproduce the exact same color as cotton, I would have dyed alpaca lace in the same color, but that is impossible with my skills.
Even if I dyed a similar color, the color would be similar to the yarn I used to sell, so I did not dye it this time.
If you would like to do two strands of cotton and alpaca lace in the above three colors, please consider this lace yarn.
■Fresh verdure →Autumn's Footsteps”Ginkgo”
■Earth→Autumn's Footsteps”Chestnut”
■Floating clouds→Autumn's Footsteps”Morning fog”
In handling cotton, I did some trial knitting and was surprised at how easy it was to knit.
Cotton is not as stretchy as wool, but I was surprised at how easy it was to knit patterns with it.
Some people may not be so keen on cotton, but I hope you will give it a try.
The sale will start at 20:00 on April 19.
