Guest Appearance at the Exhibition

Good evening, everyone.
As I mentioned on Instagram the other day, I’m delighted to share that I’ll be participating as a guest in an upcoming exhibition.

The event, “Threads, Fabrics, and the Signs of Winter,” is organized by Ms. Naoko Koga of Atelier Hinagiku, to whom I’m always grateful.
The exhibition will feature woven works on display and for sale, as well as hands-on workshops.
I’ll be there as Bon voyage hand dyed yarn, offering my hand-dyed yarns for purchase.

Dates: November 13–16, 2025
Time: 10:30–18:00 (until 17:00 on the final day)
Venue: tresallir (トレザイール)
Address: 2-12-12 Kego, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City

Both weaving and knitting share the same foundation — yarn.
Although I have very little experience with weaving, I’m always full of questions when I see finished woven pieces.
The intricate patterns and three-dimensional textures are fascinating, and I can’t help but wonder how they’re created.
Knitting also uses yarn, yet the techniques and results feel so different.
And those colorful check patterns are something truly unique to weaving.
Even if you’ve never tried weaving before, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the exhibition.
I would be so happy if you could stop by.

If you’ve seen my yarns online and have any that you’d like to see in person, I can bring them to the event upon request
(though some materials may not be available).
Since I rarely have opportunities to sell yarns in person, this is a great chance to feel the colors and textures for yourself.
If you’d like me to bring specific yarns, please contact me by email or via Instagram DM by the end of this month.
