How about Aran?

November will soon be over.
I am so shocked to realize that the year will be over in just one more month.

Today, I would like to introduce a new yarn that I have ordered!
The name is Soft merino and the thickness is Aran.

This yarn is quite firm, but has a softness.
This is a yarn suitable for cable patterns and ribbed knitting.

Then I looked on Ravelry again.
What is the most knitted item in Aran weight?
Surprisingly, it was hats.

When we asked in the survey whether you prefer semi-solid or speckled or other patterned yarns, patterned yarns were the most popular.
However, if the yarn has a strong pattern, I feel that it would interfere with the cable pattern.
So I chose “blue.blue.blue,” a color that would not affect the pattern, has few spots, and would go well with the hat.
With this yarn, I think a simple ribbed knit would work well.
